Our Mission

The Sacred Tree Foundation is a youth-led nonprofit organization dedicated to alleviating food insecurity, reducing food waste, and supporting underserved communities. Our mission is to harness the power of community to make a meaningful difference by collecting surplus fruits and vegetables from backyards, local farms, and markets and delivering them to food banks, shelters, and other charitable organizations.

We believe that small acts of kindness can create lasting impact. Our volunteers, primarily middle and high school students, mobilize their peers and neighbors to engage in food donation drives, helping ensure that fresh produce reaches those who need it most.

In addition to food distribution, the Foundation is committed to promoting education, wellness, and community engagement. Our initiatives include providing free computer classes, distributing educational materials to local schools, and organizing health and wellness awareness programs.

Since its inception, The Sacred Tree Foundation has delivered hundreds of pounds of fresh produce, inspired neighbors and local businesses to get involved, and nurtured a growing network of volunteers committed to positive community impact.
